Introducing “Plan 180”, my roadmap for the first 180 days in office as Ward 10 city councillor.
This campaign platform is focused on the positive and uplifting change that can happen when a community comes together with a realistic plan to make a difference!
- Reassess the Net-zero homelessness by 2030 plan to create a more compassionate action plan to end chronic homelessness.
- Create a dedicated daily parks crew to keep the downtown parks, streets and sidewalks clean for a better downtown experience
- Introduce a "Changing Hearts" program for the vulnerable population that promotes meaningful employment and life skills training to reduce panhandling
Proud to Call Sudbury Home
Pride for Sudbury starts with a realistic plan to end Homelessness, more public works crews and a new approach to addressing social disorder in Sudbury.
- Increase support for first responders to lower response times, improve workplace wellness and create sustainable work environments
- Review the hiring of two new by-law officers and develop a plan that reduces the number of calls and improves response time for serious complaints
- Improve signage visibility around school zones and enhance protocols to make the streets safer for all residents
Protect Sudbury
Promoting safe neighbourhoods starts with improved by-laws, support for first responders and safer school zones.
- Launch a Construction Mitigation Program to help businesses financially impacted by construction & roadwork
- Support an OADA Compliant Committee of Council to ensure accessibility issues are taken seriously
- Reinstate the Civic Arts & Culture Fund to enhance economic development through local arts and cultural projects
